Chef de Partie required to join the brigade at this busy hotel located conveniently within the heart of South Yorkshire.

The role
This 22 bedroom establishment would like to recruit a dedicated Chef de Partie to join their small but stable team. Offering conference and banqueting facilities, the hotel is a popular venue for weddings and corporate functions with the ability to cater guests in a variety of suites. The restaurant has a relaxed atmosphere, with menus offering a variety of cuisine as well as daily specials, produced with locally sourced produce. The successful candidate should be a flexible individual, with experience in fine dining as well as volume cooking.

This role is an excellent opportunity for the right applicant to join a small stable brigade and showing the right ambition and willingness to learn have an opportunity to progress in a quality establishment. Your duties will include helping the senior chefs in all aspects of the day to day running of the kitchen, as well as the development of the junior chefs, it is therefore essential that you will be a flexible and hard working individual with the capability to work well within a team.

Qualifications/Experience required:
You must have NVQ 1&2 or equivalent
Minimum of 1-2 years experience in a fine dine restaurant where you were also required to cook to volume.
It is also necessary that applicants possess a food hygiene certificate.
Must be a good learner and standards orientated

All applicants must be currently residing in the UK.
