Financial Modelling/Investment Banking Consultant

A Global organisation specialising in Business, Financial information, Pricing and Indexing services and Technology solutions seek an experienced Investment Banking professional to join them as a Financial Modelling Consultant at their offices in London, Docklands.

Job role:
The Financial Modelling Consultant will provide consultant services around our next generation Excel Add-in product, as well providing consulting services on areas such as Portfolio Analytics, Cash Flow, Financial Analysis and Datamodelling support to our Global Investment Banking clients.

The preferred candidate will be CFA Level 2 or 3 educated and will be interested in moving into consultancy and Financial Modelling within a varied team. The Team will include Financial Consultants, Sales, Technology and Investment Banking Associates

As a consultant, you will support the deployment of a brand new Excel Add-in product and be responsible for:
* Building Excel models for our clients.
* Providing consultancy services and financial data management and portfolio
analysis for investment banking professionals
* Assisting other members of team in pitching opportunities for the add-in.
* Provides client training in support of the add-in.

Consultants are critical to deploying the Excel add-in Product at client sites and are directly responsible for building/converting the models the clients will use. Any major client rollout including the add-in requires 1 or more consultants be on-site in order to provide training and delivery of the excel models.
* Build Excel Financial Models.
* Provide on-site client training.
* Provide account maintenance to existing Excel Add-in users.
* Meet with the organisations internal managers to review high profile projects.
* Provide assistance with the QA effort for Excel Add-ins.

Job Specifications:
* 3 - 5 years of Investment Banking experience
* Achieved level 2 or 3 of the CFA or equivalent
* Strong computer skills, especially using Excel.
* Strong analytical skills
* Familiar with financial analysis (ie Financial Statement Analysis, Portfolio Analytics, Client Communications)
