Are you an experienced Import Export Despatch Co-ordinator from a manufacturing background, with experience in Import/Export IPR and OPR and Shipping, looking for a new challenge.
Working for a leading manufacturer in the Coventry area, offering a salary c£26-28K and excellent benefits. Working in a custom built factory employing over 100 personnel, specialising in the design and manufacture of high precision mechanical products, this company:

The suitable candidate will have the following skills and be able to demonstrate their application in previous job roles:-
• Extensive experience in Shipping and UK/US and EU license management
• Working knowledge if import export current legislation
• Extensive experience in Import Export OPR and IPR
• Knowledge of OPR IPR HMRC returns
• From an Engineering / Manufacturing Industry background, ideally Aerospace
• Working in a customer focussed environment
In addition, it would be beneficial to have:
• Able to understand and manage compliance issues associated with import export shipping
• Excellent communication, planning, organisational and interpersonal skills
• Competent in the use of Microsoft – Word/Excel/Power Point
• Able to make on the spot decisions and meet customer demands
• Able to deliver to a high standard and develop strong work relationships
The role:
• Import Export Management
• Generate export and home invoicing ensuring compliance with regulations
• Management and point of contact for import/export instructions including IPR and OPR management log and returns
• Management of import/export issues form NPI (New product introduction) and contract review process – screening customers/recipient countries license determination/categorisation of products in line with regulatory guidance
• Carry out work place risk assessments on import/export process
• Assist with management of (HMRC & DBIS audits and inspections
• Investigation of breaches or “near misses” and compile reports and actions including BIS
• Review and act on applicable legislation ensuring up to date latest revisions
• Assist with drafting Trade and Import Compliance Policies and Procedures to world class compliance.
• Liaise with trade compliance officer to ensure that compliance issues and dealt with and assist with any investigations in connection with government disclosures.
