Risk Management

To ensure the business is effectively identifying and managing risk along with related analysis and reporting, to maintain the integrity and data within the risk management system and to provide a key interface to both internal and external clients in the management of risk* Proactively Work directly with all levels of management to ensure the identification and assessment of the impact and likelihood of operational risk across the business through the application of risk policies, procedures and supporting systems to ensure the effective monitoring and management of risk.

Oversee the management and maintenance of the processes and systems for identifying, controlling and reviewing key risks and control deficiencies and for ensuring appropriate action is taken by management. Ensure education and training on the processes is undertaken where required.
Report on an ongoing basis on key business risks and significant control deficiencies in order to meet internal needs, client requirements and legal and regulatory requirements. Maintain and develop the working relationship with clients in the business and pro-actively developing risk indicators and reports for management.

Produce regular and ad-hoc internal controls and risk reports for clients, as required, managing with auditors and management the resolution of any emerging requirements.
Act as a key operational point of contact for internal and external audit with management, ensuring recommendations are comprehensively reviewed and implemented. In addition primarily responsible for co-ordinating annual AAF 01/06 field work with External Audit and subsequent report Review ongoing business changes and new product development to ensure the business incorporates new processes/procedures in risk maps and that the control framework is maintained.
Deputise for the Head of Operational Risk as required in internal and external meetings and ensuring technical and professional risk management expertise is developed and maintained.
